CeraVe Acne Control Cleanser sets out to solve the problem at the heart of acne care: the ingredients that work on blemishes are usually the ones that wreck the skin barrier, and skin that is dry, tight and stinging is skin that stops being treated. This cleanser pairs 2% benzoyl peroxide with ceramides, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid so the barrier is supported in the same step.

• Benzoyl peroxide works on the bacteria involved in acne through an oxidative mechanism, so resistance does not develop as it can with topical antibiotics

How to Use

• Wet the face, apply a small amount and work into a light lather
• Massage over the face for around 30 to 60 seconds, then rinse thoroughly
• Start once daily if you are new to benzoyl peroxide, then build to twice daily
• Always follow with a moisturiser, and use SPF during the day
• Benzoyl peroxide bleaches fabric. Rinse well and use white towels and pillowcases
• Avoid the eye area. See a doctor if acne is severe, painful or leaving scars
