Pigeon Pure Water wipes are made largely of purified water, with minimal else in them. That is the whole point for newborn skin. The fewer ingredients a wipe carries, the less there is to react to, and fragrance and alcohol are the two most common culprits in wipes that cause irritation.

Wipes are convenient, but for a newborn with sore skin, cotton wool and warm water is still the gentlest option of all, and worth falling back on during a bad patch of nappy rash.

How to Use

• Pull one wipe at a time and reseal the pack to stop the rest drying out
• Wipe gently from front to back at nappy changes
• Let the skin dry fully before putting on a clean nappy
• Dispose of wipes in the bin. Do not flush
• Store the pack closed and out of direct sunlight
• See a doctor about nappy rash that is not improving, or skin that is broken or blistered
