GUM Junior is a fluoride mouthwash for children from six years old, in a strawberry flavour and free from alcohol. Six is the usual minimum age for mouthwash for a simple reason: younger children have not reliably learned to spit rather than swallow, and swallowing fluoride mouthwash regularly is not harmless.
