Fino is a Japanese hair care range, and this is the lightweight oil for dry, damaged lengths. Hair oils work on the outside of the hair, smoothing the cuticle so strands lie flatter, reflect more light and tangle less. They do not repair damage, because damaged hair is dead protein and cannot be rebuilt, but they make it look and behave considerably better.

Apply it to the mid-lengths and ends rather than the scalp. Oil at the roots simply makes hair look greasy and does nothing useful.
