Diclo Gel 1% contains Diclofenac Sodium, an NSAID formulated as a topical gel for direct application to painful joints, muscles, and soft tissue injuries. Unlike oral NSAIDs that distribute throughout the body and require hepatic metabolism, topical Diclofenac penetrates the skin to achieve high local drug concentrations in the underlying tissue at the site of pain and inflammation, with significantly lower systemic absorption and therefore a much reduced risk of the gastrointestinal side effects associated with oral NSAIDs.

How to Use

• Clean and dry the skin over the affected joint or muscle area
• Apply the directed amount of gel (typically 2 to 4g per application - approximately a 2 to 4cm strip)
• Rub gently into the skin until absorbed
• Apply 2 to 4 times daily
• Wash hands thoroughly after application unless the hands are the treatment site
• Do not apply to broken skin, wounds, rashes, or mucous membranes
• Do not cover with an occlusive dressing unless directed by a physician
• Do not apply to more than 2 joints simultaneously without medical advice
• Avoid eye contact - if contact occurs, rinse immediately with water
