A&H Charcoal White Toothpaste, 2x75ml

Arm & Hammer Charcoal White combines activated charcoal with the baking soda the brand has built its oral care on, in a twin pack of two 75ml tubes. The paste is black going on and rinses clear, which is part of the appeal for a lot of people.

The important detail is that it contains fluoride. A number of charcoal toothpastes leave fluoride out, and fluoride is the ingredient that actually protects against decay, so a whitening paste without it is a poor trade.

How to Use

• Apply a pea-sized amount to a wet brush. The paste is very dark, which is normal
