G.U.M Black Activital Sonic Powered Electric Toothbrush

This is the Activital sonic brush in GUM's gum care line, in a black finish. It sits alongside the Activital toothpaste and mouth rinse stocked here, so the whole routine can come from one range if you prefer that.

Whichever powered brush you use, technique matters more than the device. Guide it slowly along the gum line rather than scrubbing, and let the vibration do the cleaning.

Specs

• Type: Sonic powered toothbrush
• Range: GUM Activital
• Colour: Black
• Heads: Takes GUM replacement heads
• Brand: GUM

Benefits

• Part of the Activital line, so it pairs with the matching toothpaste and mouth rinse
• A sonic head is shaped like a manual brush, which makes switching over straightforward
• Angling the bristles towards the gum line is where a gum-focused routine earns its place
• Pressing harder does not clean better and does damage gums over time
• Cleaning between the teeth daily still matters. No brush reaches those surfaces

How to Use

• Charge or fit batteries as the manual directs before first use
• Apply a pea-sized amount of toothpaste and switch on once the head is in your mouth
• Guide it slowly along the teeth and gum line without pressing
• Brush for two minutes twice daily
• Replace the head every three months or sooner if the bristles splay
• Rinse and stand upright to dry after each use
