The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toner is an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) exfoliant that removes the accumulated dead skin cell layer from the skin surface, revealing the fresher, brighter, more evenly-toned skin beneath. Glycolic Acid has the smallest molecular size of all AHAs, allowing it to penetrate most effectively into the epidermis where it breaks the bonds between dead corneocytes and the underlying viable cells. At 7% concentration with a pH of approximately 3.6, it provides clinically relevant exfoliation that is well-tolerated for regular use by most skin types.

How to Use

• Apply to the face and neck after cleansing using a cotton pad
• Sweep gently across the entire face avoiding the immediate eye area
• Allow to absorb - do not rinse off
• Use 3 to 4 times per week initially, building to more frequent use as skin tolerance develops
• ALWAYS apply SPF50 the following morning - exfoliated skin is significantly more UV-sensitive
• Introduce gradually - begin with twice weekly use for 2 weeks before increasing frequency
• Do not use alongside other exfoliating acids, retinol, or vitamin C in the same routine
• If significant irritation, peeling, or sensitivity develops, reduce frequency or discontinue
