Advil PM is a combination nighttime pain reliever and sleep aid in coated caplet form, sold as one bottle of 20 caplets. Each caplet pairs ibuprofen, an NSAID pain reliever, with a sleep aid, for the relief of occasional sleeplessness when it is associated with minor aches and pains.

How to use

• Adults and children 12 years and over: take 2 caplets at bedtime.
• Do not take more than 2 caplets in 24 hours and do not take more than directed.
• Only take it when you have time for a full night's sleep, as drowsiness will occur. Avoid alcohol and do not drive or operate machinery after taking it.
• Take with food or milk if stomach upset occurs.
• It is not for children under 12 years of age. This product contains an NSAID, which may cause severe stomach bleeding, with higher risk if you are 60 or older, have had ulcers or bleeding problems, take a blood thinner, steroid or other NSAID, or have 3 or more alcoholic drinks a day. NSAIDs other than aspirin may increase the risk of heart attack or stroke. Ask a health professional before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, and especially avoid ibuprofen in the last 3 months of pregnancy unless directed by a doctor. Stop use and ask a doctor if pain or sleeplessness persists. Keep out of reach of children, and in case of overdose contact a Poison Control Center right away.
